Richard Curen: Neurodiversity, Sexual Development & Trauma
Summary of Training
This training will look at the intersections of Neurodiversity and Sexual Development and Trauma.
We will look at some of the current thinking about ND and its manifestations in individuals.
We will then look at sexual development across childhood and into adolescence, specifically concentrating on sexual development in people who are neurodiverse.
Finally, we will look at some of the challenges and difficulties people with neurodivergent features may face and the relevance of trauma and the manifestation of trauma in sexually inappropriate/harmful behaviours.

The workshop will be delivered using presentation and group discussion. Presentation slides and recommended reading will be provided after the training.
